Successful Completion of Photo Exhibition and Competition (তারুণ্যের চোখে স্বাধীনতা)

We are glad to share that on the occasion of Independence Day 2024, a Photo Exhibition & Competition titled “Freedom through the Eyes of Youth (তারুণ্যের চোখে স্বাধীনতা): A Photographic Tale” was successfully organized on 21 March 2024 at 1:00 PM.

For This exhibition, participants captured the photographs with their cell phones, keeping in mind the theme of the metaphors of freedom from their surroundings with enthralling excellence. Accompanied by a spirit of youthful vigor, the photo exhibition and competition was made up of around 100 groups, comprising a total of 500+ students. The photographs portrayed the students’ concept of freedom, and how they see it in their day-to-day life. It was a heartfelt and elevating event for all the participants and guests.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor (Acting) Professor Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Registrar Captain (Navy) S M Salahuddin NGP, PSC, MBA (LPR) & Honorable Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, shared their valuable thoughts about the independence, liberation war, and freedom of today’s Bangladesh.

After the inauguration, the guests and the students went around and perceived the photos which showcase the luminescence of our youth’s digital frame. While the guests were exploring the photos, the students explained how their clicked photos were accompanied by the central theme of the exhibition.

The program was hosted by Ms. Sumaiya Afreen, Lecturer, Center for Language and Cultural Studies. The program came to an end with a thanks to all by the respected
Director of Center for Language and Cultural Studies Dr. Serajum Munira, Associate Professor, Department of English, Green University of Bangladesh.
